This photo shows Andrea Gálová while singing in De Fatwa’s. She was vocalist in that all-women Amsterdam punk band in 2008-2014. She studied at Leiden University Dutch Studies and Art History and wrote her master thesis about Art and Anarchism in the Netherlands between 1880 and 1930. From 2008 on, she is volunteering in the anarchist bookstore Het Fort van Sjakoo in Amsterdam. She works at the International Institute of Social History at the Public Services/Reproduction department.
Today, her biography and photo were published on the About page of this site. Already earlier, she had done good history work by making scans of Dutch punk fanzines, present at her International Institute of Social History, available for all internauts to see at bacteria.nl.
